LANLine Tech Forum "Cabling / Networks / Infrastructure" 2015, Munich and Cologne

In 2015 too, GHMT AG was present on February 10-11 and September 1-2  together with other major players from the IT infrastructure industry at the LANLine Tech Forum "Cabling / Networks / Infrastructure" in Munich and Cologne respectively.

In his thought-provoking keynote address, "Independent proof of quality for bulk fibre-optic cabling - standard-related background information that you should be aware of", Bernd Jung, a specialist at GHMT AG, broached a subject that creates a great deal of uncertainty and lack of transparency for users and manufacturers alike. He presented the parameters used to compare the quality of fibre-optic cables based on both measurements from GHMT‘s accredited test lab and on existing standard specifications. He also gave a clear illustration of future stringent requirements to be met by data transmission and, among other things, explained the significance of standard specifications, in particular with regard to the mechanical load during installation.

The GHMT AG trade show stand was also a focal point for many visitors keen to obtain information and specialist knowledge. We would like to thank all those involved for a very successful event and look forward to seeing you at the next LANline Tech Forum 2016 in Munich on February 3-4, 2016
